It’s only September, but we have to talk about end of the year festivities. I know! I hear you, summer is barely over, but it’s not like I’m whipping out the Christmas carols just yet, (I am chilling the bubbly – no need to wait for New Year’s Eve to pop that open). What do December and January have to do with henna? If you’re planning on pulling off The Party of the Season, everything!
How many Christmas and New Year’s parties have you been to over the years? Feels like 1000. There’s your work party, your spouse’s work party, the parties thrown by all of the places you volunteer, family dinners, friend dinners, and the epic cultural- or dance-club-location New Year’s Eve bash. What stands out about them? Small talk, dancing to songs you can’t remember, and hopefully wonderful food and a toast to the malleable future as it unfolds starting at the stroke of midnight.
With many thanks to technology, ours has become a society of introverts. We’ve got flexible schedules, work from home, we don’t even have to go to the movie theatre anymore because you can stream everything in a few months and catch up on last year’s movies in the meantime. While there’s nothing wrong with being an introvert, your party planning game needs to step it up in order to attract guests to leave the comfort of their home behind and socialize. And as a thoughtful employer, organization lead, friend, or family member, you recognize that there are serious mental and physical benefits to socialization. Best of all, it helps to build a happy community.
You want a happy community, right? You want to give your co-workers the opportunity to get to know each other away from their desks in a place that’s non-committal and friendly. Give everyone the chance to relax and celebrate the year’s achievements and leave the challenges behind. You want your community to feel comfortable with each other so that when problems arrive, you can get on to solving them together or just look forward to going to work. Mondays can be good days! Get started on this goal by adding a little more pizazz to your holiday parties this year and bring guests out in droves. Start with henna!
Henna4You has years and years and YEARS of experience providing temporary body art at corporate events. Guests love it! Henna adds another touch of glamour to every outfit or sense of fun to any theme. A festive addition to any party, for every age group. The longer you leave henna paste on the longer and darker the stain will appear over the next 48 hours, but guests can leave the paste on to dry for about 10 or 15 minutes then quickly remove it in the bathroom – our all-natural organic paste won’t clog drains – and party the night away without fear of transferring the paste to clothes or other guests.
We have several artists available to attend to your guests throughout the winter holiday season! Book early to be sure you don’t miss out on throwing the party of the year. Call us at (519) 741 7007.
